Section 22
Circumstance Where Office Becomes Vacant
The office of an officebearer and Assembly member shall be deemed to be vacant in any of the following circumstances:
(a) If his or her term of office expires;
(b) If he or she resigns;
(c) If he or she is of unsound mind;
(d) If he or she is convicted by a court of a criminal offence involving
moral turpitude;
(e) If he or she is removed from office pursuant to Section 23; or
(f) If he or she dies.
